with three days to go until departure I think the van is about as close to readiness as it will ever be – apart from all our stuff of course! We’ve both put quite a lot of work into it with a little (lotta) help from our friends and there has been a real transformation. From plylined dirty box to luxurious apartment in two weeks…

Leaving Petworth West Sussex on time was an unbelievable master stroke – lulling the assembled farewell committee (including grandma, ben harnen, M&M & B) into a false sense of “being well planned”. Will you make it all the way to Alfreston, EAST Sussex?
